Software for Vertical-Screen Entertainment Terminals

Upright cabinet units, tall terminal stands, portrait-mode kiosks — vertical screen formats are common in land-based venue environments. Most software treats vertical display as an add-on. Playspot by Mosaix treats it as a native operating mode.

Vertical display is built into Playspot from the ground up. There is no additional licence to purchase, no separate configuration process, and no reduction in platform features. The full system runs on a vertical-screen terminal exactly as it would on a standard horizontal unit: admin panel, cashier application, remote device management, and the complete pre-installed library of 1,000+ entertainment titles — all in a portrait-optimised layout.

Low system requirements allow vertical terminals to run on low-power upright cabinet hardware. Stabilisation mechanisms for unstable connections keep the floor operational regardless of network conditions. Peripheral support for printers and bill acceptors is standard, and multilingual interface options with full branding customisation adapt the platform to any market.
