The product enables verified 18+ age and identity checks using the EU Digital Identity Wallet. It is eIDAS 2.0-ready and supports data minimisation, disclosing only necessary attributes like ‘over 18’ rather than a full date of birth.

Use Cases

The EUDI Wallet Integration can be applied for age verification (18+), registering online accounts, and pre-filling customer-card applications. For online account registration, identity is confirmed directly from the wallet, reducing the need for manual document checks. Form fields for applications can be populated from the wallet’s PID, which helps to minimise typos and accelerate completion.

Data Security and Compliance

The architecture of the integration ensures that the VP token does not reach the application layer. Only hashes and status flags are passed to external providers. This design reduces the amount of stored personal data, aiming to lower GDPR risk for operators. The product supports data minimisation by only sharing essential attributes.

Demonstrated Application

The EUDI Wallet Integration was demonstrated live at EUDI ON 2026. This demonstration showcased three live lottery use cases on the official EU wallet sandbox.
