Gambling Compliance & AML Services for Licensees is a managed service that runs the recurring regulatory obligations of licensed gambling companies, including AML/KYC policy, responsible gambling tools, regulator reporting, change notifications and annual renewals. It is aimed at licence holders who need their status kept in good standing between renewal cycles. The service is delivered by iGaming Express and is focused on Romanian and EU regulatory requirements.

Service scope and Key parameters

The service is a managed compliance service rather than software, delivered on an outsourced basis. Policies and procedures are aligned with Romanian Law 129/2019 and the EU Anti-Money Laundering Directives, or with the rules of the client’s own regulator.

Recurring obligations and reporting

For Romanian Class II holders, the monthly report to ONJN is due by the 10th of the following month and covers Romanian players blocked from unlicensed operators and any non-compliant domains identified. Monthly and annual reports are prepared and filed on time.

Responsible gambling and renewals

Responsible gambling frameworks include player-protection tools and policies, with integration with the national self-exclusion registry where it applies. Annual Romanian fees comprise a €20,000 licence fee and a €15,000 responsible gambling contribution. Annual compliance documentation and fee payments are managed so that licensed status does not lapse. In Romania, renewal is not automatic and updated documents must be resubmitted.

Licence holders in Romania and Malta that lack an in-house compliance function can outsource recurring filings, change notices and renewal paperwork to this service. Technical recertification by an accredited laboratory, with notice to ONJN, is included in the scope before material platform updates are deployed.
