We provide RFID powered by PJM3.0 for land-based casino operators that need secure, traceable and high-speed casino currency control across chips, plaques and jetons. The technology is used in Abbiati RFID-enabled value and non-value chips and is based on 13.56 MHz PJM RFID tags. Abbiati states that RFID value chips can be read at up to 800 pieces per second, with data showing chip count, value by denomination and total value.

The solution can work with C.I.S. — Chip Inventory System — to track chip movement from vault to cage, cage to table / chip tray, table to table and back to cage, with verification and authorization at each stage. For casino operators, it supports stronger chip security, faster counts, real-time inventory visibility, table performance monitoring and better control over authorized casino currency in live gaming operations.
