Narrow Casting Digital Signage Software Suite — remote content management

Narrow Casting Digital Signage Software Suite is a web-based content management system for updating digital signage screens remotely, marketed under the Grep-Cat name for casino and gaming venues. It lets operators manage screens from any browser location, with content loaded from uploaded files or streaming links.

Deployment and Key parameters

The software is web-based and accessible through any internet browser, so screens can be updated 24/7 from any location. Users can control 1 to 100 plus screens across all locations worldwide, and screen status can be viewed remotely. Any monitor, TV, display or video wall with an HDMI port works with the Grep-Cat player.

Content delivery and features

Content is delivered with the lightweight MQTT protocol and stored locally, so the player keeps running during slow or lost internet connections. The suite includes built-in templates, screen layouts, triggers, ticker-tape, calendar-style content scheduling, live video and web content features. Content can be loaded by uploading files or using streaming links or URLs, and existing content can be imported.

User roles and access control

Administrators can create an unlimited number of users and assign user roles to each. Audit users can be set up to approve content before it is published.

Wayfinder kiosk module

The wayfinder kiosk module has a multi-touch interface, supports multiple floors and is multi-lingual.

Integrations and security

The software integrates with most OEM peripherals, including the vendor’s own Jackpot Controller, and interfaces with most player tracking and accounting systems used in casino and gaming environments. Organisations can request a dedicated server with military-grade encryption across all communications.

Casino operators running multi-site screen networks can keep displays running through internet outages and approve content centrally before publication.
